“Sophia was instrumental when it came to planning my ceremony and reception. My partner and I knew we didn’t want a traditional wedding, but were not sure how to best express our individuality. Sophia took the time to truly get to know us and help uncover what felt special and important to us.

Together we created our dream wedding, a small handfasting ceremony in the woods, surrounded by trees and looking out over the water. The reception included a naming ceremony for my husband (he took MY last name!) to welcome him into the family, and a sword was used to cut the cake.

From choosing the perfect dress to scouting locations, Sophia was there. Because of her skills, creativity and support we got exactly what we wanted: a wedding that felt like “us.”

Overall, I know if I’d done this alone, my guests wouldn’t have felt taken care of because I wouldn’t have felt taken care of. Sophia found all the ways I get nervous about hosting and helped me see which ones to delegate away, and which to hold tight and nurture. “
